Welcome to season two of Commerce Famous. I'm your host, Ben Marks, and I'm looking forward to another great season of biweekly or thereabouts, episodes with some of the greatest founders and, and leaders and folks just doing ecommerce today. We have exciting guests with pretty much always strong opinions and, most importantly, tons of experience, and historical knowledge of this business. I I've called myself an ecommerce truffle pig. I think that's the way to describe it.

I'm out there in the forest, and sometimes it's, you know, hours and hours or days and days until I find something. But when I find something that smells good, looks good, I wanna pluck it and bring it back to the community and share. Ecommerce is kind of a, you know, kind of almost too narrow definition these days It's really about digital and how it affects every aspect of the business. So I have a view. I'd say people are definitely replatforming right now, but I think the projects have changed dramatically.

Yeah. There's a lot of tech solutions out there looking for a problem. I think it's very important to always make sure that it's something that there's actual customer demand for. Sometimes companies don't don't really invest in in digital the way they should until their customers scream at them. I've got a case study in my book.

Seriously. I love it. No. I'm serious. Commerce famous is here to tell the story of commerce and how it got to be the way it is, especially online.
